In the context of the attacks on Paris on 12 November, Rob Wainwright (Director, Europol) will speak on Europol's Response to the Jihadist Threat. 

A CCW Roundtable Discussion exploring how terrorist groups pose a serious threat to democratic governance and civilian security in numerous countries, particularly in the developing world. 

The Changing Character of War programme was very pleased to host a visit to the University of Oxford by Major General P. M. Nakasone, Commander of the United States Cyber National Mission Force, an element of United States Cyber Command.

On 5 November CCW will be welcoming back former Visiting Fellow, Professor Janne Haaland Matlary for a study day on Nordic-Baltic Defence. Other speakers from the region will be bring a variety of perspectives on this very topical area.

CCW Director Dr Rob Johnson is speaking at the Exchange and Liaison Officers Conference at the British Embassy in Paris. His lecture will look at the co-operation between the French and British during World War I and what it can teach us about alliances today.
