Foreign Fighters in the Spanish Civil War:
The Securitisation of the International Brigades, 1936-1939

Samuël Kruizinga is assistant professor in contemporary history at the University of Amsterdam. During his Visiting Fellowship with the Changing Character of War Programme, he is working on transnational mobilisation for the International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War.
