Nordic-Baltic Defence conference announced

On 5 November CCW will be welcoming back former Visiting Fellow, Professor Janne Haaland Matlary for a study day on Nordic-Baltic Defence. Other speakers from the region will be bring a variety of perspectives on this very topical area. Details below.

Keynote speaker: Professor Janne Haaland Matlary (University of Oslo)
Janne Haaland Matláry is a Norwegian political scientist, writer, and politician. She is Professor of international politics at the University of Oslo, and served as State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs 1997–2000.

Dr Deividas Slekys (University of Vilnius)
The day begins with registration at 9.30am and will conclude at 5.00pm. Lunch and refreshments are included.
